Crossing the river:
You and your wagon have come to a river crossing. You need to get to the other side of the river in order to continue you journey. You have three options. Research each a little, then make your choice and record it in your journal. Quickly explain why you chose your method.
1) Pay a for a ferry transport boat. (Cost $20. Make sure you have that left and can afford to give it up. This might not be your only river crossing.)

This means to walk through the river to the other side. By walk through, I mean everything you are traveling with right now, is going to walk through the river to the other side.

3) Caulk your Wagon
This means you fill all the cracks of the wagon so that it will float. Most settlers would use pine tar or amber to fill the cracks in their wagons. Then float the wagons with all supplies and some animals across the river.

During your travels you encounter a Native American tribe. You can't avoid the tribe, so you have a couple options.

1) Be aggressive toward the Natives. Threaten them to leave you alone or you will fight.
2) Offer to trade with them for much needed supplies. You will have to give up items of your own though, so keep that in mind.

2) Rest for 7 days, but possibly loose the rest of your wagon train and have to travel on your own.
3) Keep traveling with the wagon train and hope for the best.
